Torula News correspondents representing French, German, Swedish, Japanese and American nationalities visit Cognac Houses offering guided tours in late May and early June. The purpose is to assess the visits as seen by the tourists visiting the region. This effort is independent (we pay for all visits where applicable) and serves as a guide to the region's ever increasing number of visitors. The maximum score is 60 out of 60 based on 6 categories of rating, each worth 10 points. The categories are: General comments, Obtaining information, Cognac history, Cognac production, Tasting and Shop.  

This year we have decided to do our evaluations on a each send year basis. So, the next winner will be announced in June 2002.

But in the meantime, do visit Cognac Houses. Among many improvements this year please note changes at Courvoisier in Jarnac. They have re-done their Visitor Tour 100%.
