Tasting notes

Laurent MERLIN's estate is located in one of the best vineyards of the 'la Petite Champagne". The 20 hectares long vineyard solely planted with "Ugni Blanc" is on a very limestone rock hillside.

The Estate has been in the family since 1870. The distillation is made in the aging warehouse according to the Charente's traditional artisan methods; the spirits are kept in oak barrels from the Limousin region.

The spirit slowly matures, getting better year after year with the evaporation for the "Angels" and the brandy for the "Gods".

Great finesse, delicate aromas of fruits and almonds, spicies and cinnamon on the nose. Round, pleasant, elegant and a very long taste. Briliant old gold color.
