Rouillac is a small town located in the Fins Bois growth area (cru). Its history dates back to Roman times which is reflected in several romanesque churches and Gallo-roman amphitheater in the region. Rouillac is located at the crossroads between Cognac and Ruffec, Angouleme and St. Jean D'Angely on the road D939.

  • l'Eglise Saint Pierre This church dates back to the XII century. Its most striking feature is a two level, octagonal bell tower.

  •   Marcillac-Lanville Church This 12th century church was founded by the Augustinians. Fascinating architecture which is worth a visit.

  • Abbaye de Nanteuil en Vallée This fascinating abbey which was build in 780 is about 45 km from Rouillac. There you can taste a secret liqueur called Elixir du Val des Loups.   Phone: 05 45 31 95 46.
