Pons is a medieval town built on the top of the steep hill over looking river Seugne. The 4500 towns people are proud of it and made it primarily for walking. Selected places to see:

* Donjon de Pons the Château was built in the early XI century then destroyed by Richard the Lion heart. The present Donjon was built in 1178. You must climb 138 steps to get to the great panoramic view. Donjon is located in a very pleasant park.

* l'Eglise Saint Vivien a pretty romanesque church from XI century

* Hospital Neuf (St. Jacques) was build in late XII century. During the Middle Ages many pilgrims thought respite here. The walls are covered with their graffiti.
